Planning A Bachelorette Party

Planning A Bachelorette Party
A bachelorette party is like a rite of passage. Groups of women gather to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of their own. Following is a guide to help plan a fun and crazy bachelorette party. Whether you plan a quiet and relaxing spa day, or a wicked night on the town, it will be one of the bride-to-be’s life stories. You should plan on allocating three to four weeks to plan a bachelorette party. Want a quick checklist of the items below? We've got one for you: Bachelorette Party Quick List
Week 1: Organizing the Bachelorette PartyPick a dateFirst item on the agenda, consult with the bride-to-be and the rest of the bridal attendants to determine what her availability is. Most bachelorettes prefer to have the party a month or more in advance to avoid any extra social commitments the month prior to the wedding.
Decide on activitiesIs this going to be a daytime event, or a night-long celebration? Is it a big group or a small group? If the bride-to-be has several groups of friends, consider some quick ice-breaking activities before the main event to help kickstart interaction among the partygoers. One idea is to have fun, light-hearted games on hand to play while waiting for everyone to show up. Here are some fun ones that you can print out on your home computer:
Bachelorette Well, I Never!
Now's your chance to get the dirt from the bridesmaids - and find out who's buying the Bride-to-be's next drink! Each girl gets a chance to finish the sentence "Well, I Never____". Anyone who HAS done that, takes a sip of her drink...first girl to finish buys the Bride-to-be's next drink! Start printing as soon as you order!

Drink If...
It's time to get started drinking! As you read a list of criteria like "Drink if you are wearing pink", any girl who has done that, or is wearing that, or can be considered qualified - has to take a drink! Multiple rounds included, over 100 different reasons to drink! Start printing as soon as you order!
Sketch-A-Date
Draw in the rest of the man, given his outline - and be creative! Pay attention to details, hairstyle, clothing, shoes and overall build. Clothing is optional! Start printing as soon as you order!
Who Knows The Bachelorette?
A more intimate version of Who Knows the Bride. The only way to win is if you know the most dirt, the most embarrassing moments, and the most personality quirks of the Bride-to-be. But there's a twist! The last question YOU get to ask the Bride, and she has to either answer truthfully…or take drink! Start printing as soon as you order!
I Dare You!
A bachelorette party MUST! Get all the girls mingling and doing fun, silly and daring things that will make this a night to remember! The girl with the most points at the end of the evening, wins. Start printing as soon as you order!

Name that Drink
Bachelorette Party Game X-rated Bachelorette party game that's sure to have them laughing hysterically! Player Discretion Advised. The girls may get a little red in the face as they race to complete the names of these alcoholic drinks often served in bars. Would you have the nerve to order a "Hairy ______?" Answer key included. Start printing as soon as you order!
Here are some other ideas on how to get the party started: Bachelorette Party Ideas
Create guest listThe bride-to-be should only be involved in choosing the date, the activities and the guests. She’s got enough to worry about with the upcoming ceremony.
Week 2: Invitations, Party Favors and ReservationsSend out invitationsSending the invitations out now allows time for guests to clear their schedules and find that 'perfect' gift. Be sure to include the bride’s name as well as your contact information and meeting location!
Purchase party favorsTime to go shopping! If you are playing games, it’s always fun to have a prize for the winner.
Make any needed reservationsGoing out for dinner before all the festivities? Book that table now. And, if the plans are to hit the bars after, be sure to call the bar in advance. You may be able to negotiate a package deal if you say you’re hosting a bachelorette party, such as a flat rate for three hours.
Week 3: Final DetailsTake inventory of RSVPsThose RSVPs have started rolling in. If you haven’t received confirmation from a guest you are sure is likely to attend, pick up the phone and ask. The invitation could have gotten lost in the mail, or the invitee may have not realized an RSVP was needed.
Confirm reservationsWith the headcount more or less complete, be sure to confirm the reservations you made last week. Also confirm any special arrangements, such as having party favors placed at each table setting at dinner.
Photo evidencePick up some disposable cameras and give them to guests to take impromptu photos of the action. They can pass the cameras around so everyone is sure to be in a picture or two! After the party, collect all the cameras and develop the film. Host the photos online as a post-party favor for all attendees, and a reminder for the bride of her one of her last days of being single.
Day of: Now is the time to reap the rewards of all your efforts! Greet the guests with a smile and make sure the bride-to-be gets an opportunity to meet each guest. Have fun and enjoy!
